UGC12632 – a rare visitor on astrobin, for friends of obscure and obscured galaxies
About the Object
This is a tough one! UGC 12632 is a low surface brightness galaxy, ie it is fairly large in size compared to its luminosity - actually, NINA’s sky catalogue offers this object to me as one of the larger objects in this RA and DEC range. Furthermore, UGC 12632 is in an area with considerable Galactic cirrus. Indeed in individual subs hardly any trace of UGC 12632 is visible. At the moment of this writing, there are only two more images of this object on astrobin, both taken in the past two years.

Data were taken on 2025 December 14, 18, 24, and 25.
