NGC7753/7752 aka Arp 86

About the Object

NGC 7753 is a large barred spiral galaxy located about 270 million light-years away in the constellation Pegasus. Together with its much smaller companion NGC 7752, it forms the interacting system Arp 86. The big size difference and the strong effect on one spiral arm reminds of the more famous M51.

Observation Notes

Interesting is also the nearby IFN/Galactic Cirrus - so the more focused and the more wider field perspective - each has its appeal.
