About the Object

This is a particularly nice pair of galaxies (and many other in the background). As many other brighter galaxies, they were discovered by William Herschel. NGC3718 also runs under the name Arp214 and  is a nice example of a galaxy with irregularities.

Observation Notes

Processing is not quite straight forward in order to keep some brighter stars under control - also had some issues with the  setup of the image train  (still not fully happy yet).

Data were taken on 2022 May 2, 3, 7, 8, and 9.
