NGC2681 – an interesting lenticular galaxy
About the Object
NGC 2681 is a lenticular galaxy in Ursa Major, presenting a bright, well-defined nucleus embedded within a smooth, softly fading disk. At first glance it appears deceptively simple, yet closer inspection reveals subtle structure in its inner regions, where traces of dust and faint stellar features hint at a more dynamic past.

Data were taken on 2025 December 28 and 30 as well as on 2026 January 11,16,18, and 19
