NGC266 – a rare guest on astrobin
About the Object
NGC266 is a nice barred spiral galaxy - but I only found a few detailed pix on astrobin - why?
Observation Notes
Actually processing took me to my (rather limited) processing limits so far. Really had to battle noise (chrominance in particular), at the end I only succeed with a little help from topaz denoise ai (just took the lowest noise reduction, no sharpening) relatively early on (after stretching) - it helped quite a bit. Certainly this object cries for more subs (and a more able processor), I am sure I will come back to it in due time (if the weather gods are more merciful).
