NGC1160/1161 – a colorful galaxy pair in Perseus
About the Object
NGC 1160 and NGC 1161 form a contrasting pair of galaxies with different morphology and quite contrasty colors set against a sparse stellar background. The color contrast is amplified by a few bright Galactic stars.

Data were taken on 2025 December 18, 24 and 25.
