About the Object

NGC 7217 is a pretty interesting galaxy, and - considering its brightness and size - relatively rarely imaged. Motivated by a nice rendition by @Eric Coles (coles44) , I took a shot at it.
my friend @Gary Imm a few years ago described NGC7217 as consisting of three components, a bright inner core, and inner yellow flocculent disk and an outer blue flocculent disk, I would actually add a forth component, a diffuse halo.

Observation Notes

Data were taken on 2023 September 10, 11, 14, 15, and 20
