Introducing to astrobin: NGC7223 and PGC 214803, a.k.a. Galaxy pair Holm 788

About the Object

NGC7223 (left) is a barred spiral galaxy of type SBc in the constellation of Lacerta. It is accompanied by PGC 214803 (at the upper right), together they form the gravitationally bound pair Holm 788. Furthermore, NGC7223 is the brightest galaxy of the NGC 7223 group, with UGC11927 (right) being the other prominent member. An interesting curiosity of NGC 7223 is that it has a Wikipedia page in German, French and some 20 other languages, but not in English! why is Anglesaxonia disliking NGC 7223?

Observation Notes

Maybe that's also why thus far there was no close-up shot yet on astrobin, you can only find it hiding in the background of some wide-field images (including a spectacular image of Hale Bopp on photographic film by @Christoph Lichtblau), so I submit it also to the introductory collection (I hope @Gary Imm agrees).
