Comet P19/Pons-Brooks under Tenerife skies

The (kind of) darkness and low horizon at the Teide Observatory on Tenerife allowed some comet hunting. Kind of dark: 50% moon, some Sahara dust in the atmosphere, wind ...

And March 16 was quite late for comet hunting, standing low on the horizon in twilight. The little SeeStar turned out quite nice for such hunting endeavors - as soon as twilight was sufficiently advanced to get some stars, SeeStar plate solved, pointed to 19P/Pons Brooks, tracked, and started integration, so I still could get out about half an hour of good frames.

Data was taken on 2024 March 16.
