Tulip nebula (Sh2-101) in SHO
Observation Notes
The Tulip nebula is another nice objects to get experience with narrowband at large focal length. Main problem is that nebula emission extends much further than the size of the image, so a reasonable background extraction is difficult - on the next occasion I need to get some wider field image so to do multiscale background extraction. So take the corners with a grain of salt. Regarding the color composition, I find the gilded HOO approach the most promising.
