Two galaxies (NGC5874, NGC 5876) and a star (HD134190)
About the Object
NGC 5874 and neighbors in Bootes are not very frequently targeted on astrobin, usually this part of the sky is a by product of wider fields around the more prominent targets like M102 or NGC 5907. But it is an interesting setting: NGC 5874 is an SBc spiral with extended star forming regions some 146 Mio ly away. NGC 5876 is an SBab disk with a very pronounced bar. It is located at a distance of 151 Mio ly. The setting is complemented by HD134190, a bright 5 mag star which together with the two galaxies forms a nearly perfect rectangular triangle on the sky. Processing such bright stars can be a real pain in the neck, so I basically decomposed the image into three (rather than the usual two) components: non-stellar objects, stars and HD134190. The latter one only got minimum processing, a bit of deconvolution (but only some narrowing of the PSF) followed by a HT stretch and a bit of chroma smoothing followed by a mild saturation enhancement. At the end, I have to admit that I like the overall setting and the contrast between bright and faint, or, nearby and far away.
