44 Cygni with Reflection Nebula vdB 133
About the Object
Sydney van den Bergh's object 133 is a reflection nebula in the constellation of Cygnus. The nebula reflects the light of the yellow supergiant 44 Cygni. The warm color of this star makes the nebula appear white rather than the more usual blue of reflection nebula powered by hotter stars. Adjacent to vdB 133 is the large HII region LBN219, which makes the overall ensemble optically quite appealing. So a nice target for HaLRGB.
